The Friends of St Petroc's are a group of people dedicated to raising funds for the school by organising various fund raising events throughout the year. Last year we spent over £7000 purchasing a minibus for use in away matches and extra curricular activities plus an interactive computer whiteboard, which is a fantastic educational aid.

On Saturday 17th March we held our first Spring Ball. The Ball was very well attended by Parents, Staff, Governors and Friends and was an enormous success. It was wonderful to see all the ladies dressed up and the men looking dashing in their suits and of course the select few who wore kilts.

The evening started with pre dinner drinks followed by a three course meal. A magician performed various tricks during the course of the meal and also made some rather unusual balloons. After the meal a series of games were played compered by Brown Cardoo and Mike Dinsdale - a big thank you to both of them for their hard work. A band and then the Dan Stockland disco followed for the rest of the evening.

The sum of £1064 was raised from this event to go towards buying equipment for the school. A big thank you to every one involved.
